GRAPHIC DESIGNER
I have a passion for traditional graphic design such as branding, multi-platform collateral and advertising. My personal design approach is commercial and content-focused. I aim to create work that is accessible to the widest possible audience.
Professionally I would like to work as an embedded designer. Ideally in a marketing team of a non-design organisation. I would love to work as a designer for not-for-profits or companies that align with my passions.
My extensive travelling experiences drives my love of design and has strengthened my ability to understand the many different facets of society. I would love the opportunity to work overseas.

Diploma of Graphic Design
Weekly full teaching days for two years learning the basics of design with an emphasis on the Adobe Suite while continuing my traditional high schooling.
2016 - 2019
RSPCA Qld
Graphic Designer
For 3 years I worked in a marketing office alongside fellow designers and created multi-platform collateral, advertisements, poster designs, and print designs all while staying consistent to a set style guide. I had many opportunities to develop my graphic design skills in a real-world environment.

Bachelor of Design (Honours) Interactive and Visual Design/Adveritising
Throughout my degree I have studied units for typography, visual communication, web design, tangible media, interface design, marketing and communications. My time at QUT has reaffirmed by love of traditional graphic design while allowing me the opportunity to learn additional skills in other fields.

Post-graduating, I have kept busy freelancing. Slowly but surely making connections and networking with peers has allowed the chance to experience designing for clients. Logo design work has been my focus while also providing overall branding advice.

Freelance Illustrator
After graduating I have discovered a passion for illustration and portraiture. Utilising the popular platform of Instagram, I created a profile that has amassed hundreds of followers. Through exposure of my work, I have been able to provide commissioned pieces for clients. This has seen me learning pricing methods, social media promotions, understanding insights, and marketing myself for a profit.
